School Entrance in Gypsy Lane 2004

This modern view is barely recognisable as it is now dominated by the Judith Telfer building in the foreground. This is now a key feature of the College and provides a wide range of excellent modern facilities, computer suites and flexible space.
Security 2005
OK! Things have changed since 1950 and it is a sign of the times that security is now deemed to be such a visible feature of our schools! Visible through the bars is part of the much older South-West corner of the former Grammar School.

Mens Sana in Corpore Sano

The gymnasium - without of course any elitist Latin inscriptions! Nevertheless, a tour inside this building will reveal a lot that hasn't changed. The beams, wall bars and flooring remain much as they were in 1950!
Where are the Grass Courts?
Long gone we are afraid. Most of the old grass tennis courts have now been built over. This nostalgic view of the old grange building library area still holds much of its original charm! Sorry about the bit of fire escape from the Telfer Building!

And the Old Grange Itself!
Ah, Glory Be! Plus Ça Change.......No sign of a black Wolseley 1500 though!
