Exmouth Grammar School had an active interest in a full range of cutural activities and was particularly strong in the production of plays. Antigone - a Greek Tragedy by Jean Anouilh - was produced in 1959 by Ian Carswell, one of a number of teachers who brought expertise and enthusiasm to this area of school activities.
